A New Range of Volta General Conveyor Belts

The success of VOLTA FOOD BELTING inspired VOLTA to continue searching for new materials
and compounds to meet the needs of general industry.

VOLTA GENCON BELTS are the result of a continuous evolution in conveyor belting. Our research
and development has generated new compounds to successfully solve many of the most difficult
belting problems.

VOLTA GENCON BELTS are made from new HI-TECH polymers that are homogeneous requiring no
reinforcement. They have been developed for general conveying services offering longer life, easy
installation and superior performance.

VOLTA GENCON presents two different types of synthetic belts--FK and FZ--available in several
thicknesses. Simple tooling is available to enable you to weld belts endless, fabricate cleats, and install
guides. This allows VOLTA GENCON to provide solutions for even the toughest applications.

PROBLEMS SOLUTIONS

Lacing

Metal lacing in conventional belts damage the product.
Endless belts also require a long time to install. VOLTA GENCON FK BELTS are made endless,
within minutes on-site, and do not require metal
lacing.

Installation

Limited accessibility to the conveyor and a need for
endless belts cause extended down-time of the con-
veyor while belts are being replaced. VOLTA GENCON FK BELTS can be welded
endless within a few minutes.

Cleat Durability

The cleats on conventional belts are glued to the belt
which open during use resulting in reduced belt life. VOLTA GENCON FZ CLEATED BELTS are easily
welded to the belt becoming one homogeneous
unit. As a result the cleat will never separate from
the belt.

Finish

Conventional cleated belts are not smooth and may
damage the product. VOLTA GENCON FZ BELTS have a smooth finish
which remains clean during operation. They do not
separate or damage any products.

Abrasion Resistance

Conveying wet concrete which includes small stones
causes extreme wear of conventional belts. VOLTA GENCON FZ BELTS are abrasion
resistant and non-absorbent compared to rubber
belts.
